It's that time of season again... yup, birthday season!

We are Katherine and Maria Kristie! We've been wonderfully blessed with awesome friends, great families, pretty super jobs, and comfy homes.

So this year, we're giving our birthdays up!

Instead of asking for gifts, we're asking for anything you can give from everyone we know (maybe a $1 for each year we've been around - 29 for Kat, 26 for MK)! It's not going to us, though. ALL of it is going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families. Just $20 can give one person clean water for 20 years!

Our birthday wishes this year are not for more gifts we don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. We want to make our birthdays matter this year.
