Ever since I was a little boy I always dreamed of making a positive impact on the lives of people less fortunate than me. By western standards I'm really not all that well-off, in fact life's a few sandwiches short of a picnic at times. BUT by third world standards I, like you, am living like a king and so I decided that if we all gave up a few dollars we could really make a difference in the lives of people less fortunate.

Water is something we all take for granted, which many people live without and struggle to find every day. And what's most troubling is that the little water they do find, is actually making them sick or even killing them. Water is the most basic, essential resource we as humans need to survive. With clean water entire communities of people become happier, healthier and more productive.

Friends, $6000 sounds like a large number but together we can do it. If everyone in my network gave only $2 this goal would actually be surpassed. If everyone shared it with their own networks, this money could be raised in no time. Give what you can. Let's bring clean drinking water to an entire village in the developing world by the end of September so they can enjoy it in time for Christmas! 100% of all donations go directly to a clean water project, and all donators receive a tax receipt by email.
