That's right--that's baby version of me. I look as dumbfounded then as I do most of my days now, hohohoho!

Anyhow, welcome!

Over the last few years, I've planned some pretty huge party celebrations for my birthdays (the infamous "no-sober" weekend, several ludicrous Vegas trips not to be remembered, etc.).

This year, I wanted to do something different. My brother helped out this org, and tweeted out a video one day. Watching the video to the right REALLY hit a nerve in me.

Wow--really? Is that it? It's really THAT easy to help bring fresh water to people and villages that need it??

The founder of this org started it by giving up his bday, and asking people to donate his age in dollars to the cause. I'd like to do the same.

I'm turning 25 this year, and rather than having you try to figure out what to get me, I'd love for you to donate $25 to HELP ME BUILD A WELL instead.

$5000 is how much it costs to build a well in a village, and that will be my goal for my bday and Christmas! *power fist pump!* If I can get 200 people to donate $25 each, I'll reach my goal!!! Even if I don't reach my goal, at least I know that I've definitely contributed my part to help bring clean, fresh drinking water to countries that really need it.

It's SO simple, it's SO easy, and the best part is that they tell you exactly what all your donation go towards! (Hurrah for organizational transparency!)
