Eileen's Birthday Wish

Dearest friends,

In the spirit of my seemingly indefinite stream of ambitions, I of course have found something new to aspire to!

And so, for my birthday, I'm reaching out to all of the fantastic people in my life to ask for the gift of your assistance in helping me achieve my latest aspiration.

Please join me in my mission to build one well and to bring one community access to an invaluable resource that so many of us take completely for granted.

And, in case you needed any inspiration, these two statistics say it all:

*** 1 in 8 people on this earth, over 1 billion of us, do not have access to safe, clean drinking water. ***

*** Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. ***

Enough said I think!

As my favorite saying goes, let's shoot for the moon and even if we miss at least we'll land amidst the stars. (every little bit counts!)
