In Alisa 's words...


In the US, we fret about whether we can pay for elaborate birthday parties for our kids--complete with theme cakes and held inside of indoor rec centers. Yet, in other countries, kids don't even have water to drink. That's why I'm donating my birthday to charity. I have so much--too much--whereas others have so little. Just $5000 -- the goal of this campaign -- could dig a well that would bring water to 250 people.
