On November 7th at 2pm, we will meet at the Denton Square to walk. From there, we will embark on an approximately 4.5 mile round trip journey to South Lakes Park and back to collect water from the lake. If everyone who walks donates $20 and asks for donations from friends and family as well, we think that the $5,000 goal (the price of one well) is in reach! Please bring some empty milk jugs, jerry cans, buckets, or whatever you can scrounge up, as we will be collecting water from South Lakes Park to carry back to the Square!
Update: A huge thank you to those who walked and to those who have donated so far! We've still got a distance to go before we reach our goal, so now we're adding another event to the campaign: a Christmas party for Charity: Water! It looks like it will be on December 5th, so save the date! More details to come.
