This year, instead of celebrating the fact that I've somehow managed not to die so far by receiving lame gift cards and socks that I'll probably regift anyway, I want to celebrate the fact that I'm healthy, very blessed, and in a position where I'm able to help out a ton of other people (and so are you!).

For my 20th birthday I'd like to raise $2,000 for charity: water, who will take 100% of these donations and use them to build wells and provide resources for people in developing nations who don't have access to clean drinking water - something we take for granted every day. $2,000 can give clean water to 100 people for the next 20 years, and that's a much greater gift than anything else I could possibly receive.
