goal
On Jan 7th, I'm turning 28.
Millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
I've been following Charity Water for a long time now and I fully support and believe in what they do. All operating costs are covered by private donors so 100% of donations go towards giving clean water to those who need it. I firmly believe that clean water is one of the greatest resources we can give to improve someone's quality of life in developing countries.
I'm asking for $28 from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $1000 by my birthday, Jan 7th, 1985.
Please join me to make this birthday count.
Happy birthday, dude. A worthy cause, indeed.
Happy Birthday Brian!
This is a great organization and all of the support is going to a great cause. Thanks for starting this campaign and sharing the word...
