Last year I did this (using my birthday as a charity:water campaign). Though it's easy to be selfish, I don't want to let the opportunity to help out another human being like this go to waste.
It's my 21st, so, yeah, feel free to buy me a drink (and I'm sure they'll be plenty). But it'd be really cool if you could help out and put money towards a drink for someone who doesn't always get one.
