The Decatur Church of Christ youth group is serious about serving others and providing for their most basic needs.
On July 17-20th they will be serving the Decatur community through acts of kindness and service with a camp that we call Camp Coldwater. The name comes from Matthew 10:42 where Jesus says "If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."
As a part of our goal for Camp Coldwater, we want to do our best to fund a complete water project to give some 250 people one of our most basic needs / clean water. This will take $5,000 to accomplish. We are looking for any way to turn what is now a goal into a reality.
