Hi! I'm Ellie and I just turned 13 years old.

Most of you probably know me, and if you don't, then thank you for coming to look at my campaign!

This marks my 5th year of doing a charity:water campaign for my birthday. In previous years my goal was to raise 100 times the age i was turning. For example, I wanted to raise $900 for my ninth birthday, $1,000 for my tenth, and so forth.

Over 4 years, we raised over each goal to raise a total of $6,862 TOGETHER! Every year, we thought it might be too high of a goal to raise, but you guys (our amazing family, friends, coworkers, and random strangers) have always risen to the occasion.

And, because you have always given over the last 4 years, we helped hundreds of people receive clean water. We've helped fun clean water wells in Kenya, Ethiopia, and the Congo.

However, today many people still have to walk miles on miles on miles to a disgusting pond to fill big cans or clay pots with water that isn't clean and then walk back home carrying it.

Keep in mind that many of the people that work so hard to get this water become sick and some even die because of this water.

But guess what.

They don't have to anymore.

Not if we give them a well that will pump clean, life-giving water. (Watch the video on this page to learn even more!)

Late in 2015, I realized that if we raised $3,138 this year, the total amount of money we would have raised over all five campaigns through the years would be 10,000 DOLLARS! So.. that became our goal for this year!

$3,138 is a LOT more money then we have ever raised before. Honestly, I'm a little nervous that we can do it but...

... I KNOW we can do it!!!

This year, for my 13th birthday, I would like if you donated $13 to my campaign. Of course, you don't have to donate that amount. You can donate $20, $50, $130, whatever you want.
