Next week I will turn 37 years old and I want to do something different. Last year, you took the time to wish me a happy birthday. You either called me, posted a birthday wish on Facebook, sent me an email, mailed me a card, or joined the other 19 guys for some paintball fun!

This year IT'S NOT ABOUT ME because honestly I have everything I want and I don't need special recognition. In all honesty, I'm just grateful for everything God has trusted to me; my new family, my friends, my job, my passions, and my freedoms! I have an abundance of choices and opportunities in this country and I'm thankful!

We are among the few. Much of the world has very little choice for what we call "the simple things" such as clean water. Not only have I read about this, but I've seen it now within various areas of Ethiopia.
