The only words that adequately describe this past year are "thank you." It has been rich with experiences, opportunities, and people (including the little bundle of joy we welcomed into the world in February). I'm especially mindful of how little I deserve these gifts. They are given to me.
Yet there are many to whom, for no reason other than where they were born, do not have these gifts. So instead of receiving presents this year, I want to give the gift of clean water to some of these people.
