Easter Sunday 2011
Imagine if you had no clean water. Imagine sweating and straining to haul contaminated water back to your family. Imagine suffering from preventable things like diarrhea, parasites or leeches. Unbelievably, 80% of all diseases in the world are caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. A recent trip to Africa with my daughter, Kelsey inspired us to find ways to make a difference and partner with charity:water.

After learning more about charity: water's work, I know we can make a dent in the global water crisis. I've started a campaign. In the next three months, we will raise $[5000] to build a clean water well for a village.

My family and I are looking for "action heros" that can help us build a "splash zone" that really matters. Imagine seeing children tasting fresh clean water for the first time. What a celebration!

Together, we've got an incredible opportunity to provide clean water for those in need. The great thing about donating to charity: water is that 100% of donations go directly to the water projects, and we'll get to see exactly what projects our dollars made possible.
