On February 9th, I turned 33!
Although I sometimes say I am only 29, I am enjoying life in my 30's and I'm celebrating my birthday like never before!
I'm asking for $33 from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $1,089 for my birthday. That's $33 from 33 people. And, together we can help 54 families.
It's just a drop in the bucket but every little bit counts. ANY amount you give will be greatly appreciated. This goal is very important to me as I've been on the receiving end of a bacterial infection from dirty water.
