The Sahel region is one of the harshest places on earth to live. We can change that!
I've been fortunate enough to be part of the charity: water team for 4 1/2 years now. I've also seen first hand how water changes everything. But what I haven't done yet is fundraise for our annual September Campaign.
So this year, I've decided to change that and bring clean, safe drinking water to the people living in the Sahel region of West Africa. But I can't do that without your help!
In exchange for your generosity, I'm going to run the Bronx 10-mile race on September 28, 2014. My goal is to raise $1K for every mile I run, or "10 for 10". In addition, and here's the best part, Virginia Clay will match your donations dollar for dollar. Which I guess means I should be running 20 miles, but nonetheless..
