Every year I dread my birthday because I don't want people to stress about planning parties, dinners, etc etc etc. Why not just donate to charity:water instead?

$20 bucks can get 1 person clean water for 20 whole years! We all take advantage of our running tap water. $20 bucks! 20 Years! shocking and heart breaking.

Lets do this on a scale we can compare to. So lets say we go to a club and get a table. Lets say that's at least $1000 for the night. A handful of $15 shots. Then the cost of gas, cabs, and hungover chicken and rice.

That plus birthday dinners, will put the total over 3k.

My point is, I know times are tough now and my $5000 goal seems like a reach but I think it is attainable by the end of this year. Skip one trip to Starbucks and have one less shot of Patron each week. You'd be surprised at how much you'll save.

My contribution ... If you know me well you will know that I drink A LOT of water. I love a refreshing cold glass of water. As much as I would like to not drink bottled water anymore most of the time it's not as easy as it sounds. Especially when working on TV / Film sets. Mini bottles, full size bottles, regular spring waters, fancy waters. I will donate whatever I spend on water from now till December 31st.
