Many of us have problems: Health problems, financial problems, marital problems, etc. What if you had all those problems on top of a total lack of basic necessities to survive.
Next time you're REALLY thirsty, imagine that you had NO water. You couldn't go to the faucet, you couldn't go to the corner store, the only option you had was to walk a mile in search of a dirty puddle to drink out of. This is reality for almost a BILLION people. This is staggering and so insane that it's hard to even imagine it.
We are blessed. No matter what issues you have...if you live in America, you are blessed. If you have a house and car, you are BLESSED.
When we are blessed, we need to bless others. If we can raise this $5000, we can bring clean water to 250 people and change their lives.
Let me say that again. We can CHANGE THE LIVES of 250 people if we can raise and donate only $5000. We can do this.
