We are excited to launch our 2nd annual holiday fundraiser, this year reaching for a higher goal, and resorting to our community for the first time.
Last year, StumbleUpon employees raised money during a raffle at our annual holiday party. The company matched the amount raised by the employees, and we asked our community to vote for a nonprofit of their choice, to which we promised to donate the money. Charity Water was the organization chosen by our users.
This year, we decided to go with Charity Water again, and upped our goal to $20,000. If each of our 12,000,000 users were to give $1, we'd raise a fortune. But we only need 20,000 users to donate $1 each, or even fewer users to donate $3 or $5 each. Each small contribution matters - because together, we can easily reach this goal!
