Hey Guys!
So I wanted to share with you my project. There's this non-profit organization called MyCharity: Water that focuses on raising money for water in countries that can't afford it. Normally, I wouldn't pay much attention to groups like these because you never really know where the money goes. The difference with charity:water is they not only tell you where it goes, but what every dollar goes towards, and they can even let you control it yourself! So I decided to make my own group/goal. By July 1st I'm pledging to raise up to $2,000 and to do so we created our own account:
www.mycharitywater.org/timtialdo
It explains in more detail about the website. So if you'd like to help out, $20 can go very far. We'd appreciate it very much as would the peoples live you are changing!
Just remember, $2000 can give water to 100 people. A selfless act can make someone survive with fresh water for 20 years!
So PLEASE spread the word around your work, to your friends, and around school.
Thanks so much and we'll keep you updated on how it's going June 1st!
Tim has partially funded 3 projects.
