Our twitterteam will be made up of people from developed nations around the world, and our joint goal is to ascend a peak in the Himalayas, taking us almost to the very "top" of the globe. With that in mind, we want to address a truly worldwide issue in our fundraising efforts. A staggering one billion people across the world in developing countries do not have ready access to a safe supply of drinking water. One of many such countries is Nepal, the very country we will be privileged to visit. Water.org aims to highlight awareness of those less lucky than us, and works to create sustainable water supply projects at community level. In doing so it improves health and basic sanitation for a large proportion of the globe less fortunate than us. We feel their mission is a perfect fit with our own and are proud to support their efforts.
