On November 29th the residents of Portland, Oregon experienced what it is like to have their access to safe drinking water limited.

This inconvenience reminded me that we live in an amazing place full of privileges not shared by many people around the world.
This one day when we couldn't drink the water will be remembered as....
Something to make jokes about.
The day the Eastside got a bit cocky.
The day we had to break our "No bottled water" rule.
A difficult PR/Social Media moment for some government agencies.
But I would like it to be remembered as the day that the people of Portland became passionate about making sure the rest of the world enjoys the same luxury of safe and accessible drinking water that we have, 354 days a year.
We experienced it, now we should understand it better and do something about it.
Please donate and spread the word!
Thanks!
