My name is Sally Henkel and I am from Kentucky. This year I am living in Germany. My friends and family back home started to ask me what I want for Christmas this year. At first, I selfishly thought of myself. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of this Season? isn't it about giving? This isn't meant to a guilt trip, but more or less a realization. While so many of us this time of year make extensive wish lists with extra clothes and a $500 watch; meanwhile, there are kids, families and communities begging for clean water. There are people in dire need for something that we have the privilege of having each and every day. That doesn't seem fair does it? This holiday season I am going to raise $7000 by February, but I cannot do it alone. I invite everyone to help me give the gift of water this holiday season!!
