On October 28, I'm turning 25. Yikes. A quarter of a century baby. OHMYGOSH. I AM GETTING OLD.

But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.

Normally, I'm not much of a birthday person but now I feel differently. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday in an awesome way. Watch the video and see what I mean.

So I'm not scared of turning 25 anymore. Bring it on, quarter-life crisis, ha! :)

I'm asking for a little moolah from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.

My goal is to raise $1000 by my birthday, with the idea being 25th Birthday= $25 donations, though any amount will help. Even if I don't reach it, whatever I do raise goes straight to making a well anyways. Win-win, really.
