Every year, on my birthday, I try to make someone's life a little bit better. In the past, this has been a simple smile or a small donation to someone on the street, but three years ago, I found out about charity: water and my birthday has never been the same since!

You see, I learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. And I know that we can help change that.

They say the third time is a charm, so for this third charity: water campaign, I'm going all out and trying to raise $2800 for clean water.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
